Status BarShow Format Marks
Displays the status bar at the bottom of the screen. As your mouse cursor passes over a menu option or toolbar button, the status bar provides a brief description of what that menu option or toolbar button does. A check mark beside this Status Bar option indicates the status bar is currently displayed. Clicking the Status Bar option again removes the status bar.

Available when the current file is in a preview window (except preview of frames).


Displays the following formatting marks in your Web page preview window, to provide you with visual cues as you work: paragraph break (blue P), line break (blue B), form (dotted outline), and table (dotted outline). These formatting marks will not appear when the Web page is viewed in a browser or when it is printed. A check mark beside this menu option indicates the formatting marks are currently displayed in the preview window. Clicking this menu option again removes the formatting marks from the preview window.

View HTML SourceReload Images
Available when the current file is in a preview or test window.


Displays a window containing the HTML source code of the current Web page. This allows you to edit the HTML source code directly, if you want to. All menu options and toolbar buttons related to inserting and editing HTML elements are disabled when the source window is current.

To quickly switch back and forth between the source window and preview window, simultaneously press the Control key and Tab key. This cycles through all windows currently open in Web Factory.

Available when the current file is in a preview window.


Reload Images updates images that have changed since the last file revision.

If the current file does not contain any images, Reload Images will not be available on the View menu.

Open Linked File Launch Browsers
Available when the current file is in a preview window (except preview of frames).

Opens the file that the hyperlinked text or image is linked to while in a preview window. This option is only available when the cursor is placed on the hypertext link or image.

Available when the current file is in a preview window (except preview of frames).

Open a file that is currently open in a Web Factory preview window directly into Navigator, Internet Explorer or any other Web browser that is setup in Web Factory's Preferences, Launchable Browsers.
